Cape May Food and Wine Festival – September 15-24, 2017
Indulge in good food, fine wine, and all types of culinary delights and events during the 21st Cape May Food & Wine Celebration, presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC). Sample the best of the best and find out why the New York Times has dubbed Cape May “the restaurant capital of New Jersey.”Most festival events cannot accommodate children. Harvest Brew Fest – September 16, 2017 (10:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
Enjoy craft beers  and celebrate South Jersey during this all-day festival that celebrates all things local! Festival will be held on the grounds of the Physick Estate, 1048  Washington Street. Enjoy local food vendors, local artisans, local craft beers and local musical talent including: Loud N Klear, Heavee Levee, and a Beatles Tribute Band. Taps flow beginning at 10am. Admission to the grounds is free and free parking is available.

Autumn Festival Crafts & Collectibles Show – September 30, 2017 (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
Craft show will be held at the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington Street.

A Walk with a Ghost Writer – October 6, 2017 (6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
Skeptics turn into believers as you follow psychic medium and Ghost Writer Craig McManus on a one-hour walking tour, and listen as he talks about  the paranormal activity he has experienced at a variety of properties along the way. Tour begins at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth. Tickets cost $25.

Murder Mystery Dinners – October 6-8, 2017
The scene is set for a new mystery in 2017: “Marriage and Other Crimes.” What happens when the family doesn’t approve of the fiancée? Mayhem ensues when the groom-to-be introduces his future wife to his family. Interact with the cast of likely suspects and try to solve the mystery as you enjoy a four-course dinner in the dining room of Aleathea’s at the Inn of Cape May, 7 Ocean Street. Adult $50; Children $25 (ages 3-12). West Cape May Lima Bean Festival – October 7, 2017 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Tea & Confessions: The Bizarre Case of Lizzie Borden – Saturday, Oct. 14: (2:30pm)
Who was Lizzie Borden, and what really happened on the fateful day her parents were hacked to death in the family home? Meet Lizzie Borden and get swept up in the story of one of the most notorious women in modern history. Carriage House Cafe & Tearoom at the Physick Estate, 1048 Washington Street, Cape May. Cape May Fall Festival – October 19th, 2017 – October 22nd, 2017
Festival is held at the Cape May Convention Hall and is hosted by the NJ Audubon Society.  Vendors include artists, crafters & Cape May Bird Observatory’s nature store with the latest in binoculars and scopes. Kids activities include crafts, a live touch tank, and scavenger hunt. Jonathan Wood and The Raptor Project brings live raptors –  3 shows daily. Admission is free.

Séance at the Physic Estate – October 20, 2017 (10:00 p.m.)
