Strathmere is an unincorporated community just north of Sea Isle City on Ludlam Island. It is a sleepy beach community on the northern tip of this barrier island where, at it’s widest, it is only two blocks wide. Stepping into Strathmere is like stepping into a small town of the past, with a blinking light intersection, a post office, a library and a couple fantastic restaurants. The beaches here are spectacular. Strathmere provides a peaceful beach experience but it’s proximity allows one to easily get to more lively, neighboring beach towns if so desired.
